To implement the SNOMED CT database, we rewrote the West Coast Informatics Inc scripts so that it could be used for configuration with a remote Oracle Autonomous database on OCI. We have decided to offer the modified scripts for download under the Apache 2.0 license, as is the case with the original West Coast Informatics scripts. They can be downloaded on our pages here.

After consultation with ÚZIS ČR (Institute of health information and statistics), we implemented an instance of the SNOMED CT database created and maintained by SNOMED International. It is a clinical terminology standard that serves as a tool for standardization and improved communication within the healthcare industry chain. We decided to use it as a source of terminology for our application. The database is hosted on our Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud (OCI).

An on-line meeting with ÚZIS ČR (Institute of health information and statistics) was held on Thursday, March 14th. UZIS ČR is the representative of the Czech republic in International organization SNOMED CT. Namely Ms Molinari and Mr Zvosky of ÚZIS ČR and Mr Čorba and Mr Mura of Arachnet Project z.s. participated. We discussed the possibilities of implementing SNOMED CT clinical terminology into our BlindPhysio application. As we have found that SNOMED CT is well designed standard and already contains large number of terms we have decided to base our BlindPhysio application on this international standard. We have applied for SnOMED CT license for the Czech republic and are ready to create our own copy of the terminology in SQL database to be possible to use it.

We would like to announce that a technical meeting with experts from Oracle Prague, a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, Mr Viktor Nemec and Mr Andrej Valach, will take place on October 5th. The Oracle Cloud will be set up. From this date our Oracle Cloud will be in production state and ready to be used as the main development environment for the development of BlindPhysio Application. The configuration will be described in details in our web site.

An online meeting with Czech Invest's expert, Ms. Veronika Lorencova, has took place on Monday 16 October 2023.. Czech Invest is the Investment and Business Development Agency of the Czech Republic. The spokespersons of the Arachnet Project were Mr. Jan Mura and Mr. Adrian Corba. We discussed the circumstances and conditions under which our project can apply for the Technology Incubator., the programme for czech start-ups. We will consult with Ms. Lorencova on the next steps and conditions that need to be met in order to submit an application..
